LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT/Grey Information) – A College of Kentucky dancer died months after being identified with a uncommon type of most cancers, based on her household.

Kate Kaufling, 20, died on Easter Sunday, after battling osteosarcoma, an aggressive type of bone most cancers that principally impacts kids, teenagers and younger adults, WKYT reported.

She was identified on June 2, 2023, throughout her freshman 12 months of faculty.

Together with being on the UK Dance Crew, she was additionally a nursing pupil and a member of the Tri Delta sorority.
